As the Athletic Director at Noble and Greenough School (an independent private school in theBoston area), I was fortunate enough to connect with the team behind the Electronic Scoring System in the fall of 2022. After seeing how impressive the device was and how great it was to work with their leadership, we decided to install it on all ten of our courts (six outdoors and four indoors.) Our coaches, players, and families have been delighted with the system and believe it represents a significant upgrade in our tennis facilities. Installing and learning to use the system were both quick and easy. It has been effectively used since the installation at the start of our spring season. I recommend it for all schools interested in upgrading their facilities and giving tennis the focus it deserves.
Check out the new ESS Electronic Scoring System. Those guys at Bass River Tennis Club in Beverly, Massachusetts did a marvelous job creating something really useful for clubs, coaches and parents. Imagine your junior student playing a tournament match and her parents can watch it at home in real-time. I am ecstatic about this company and its great system.
I am really proud of our overall facility and the reputation we have in the area as one of, if not the, best maintained club. Adding the technology like we recently did, just fits perfectly with that image. Our members enjoy it, and it has been smoothly adopted into the flow. ESS, in particular, makes It easy for me to see what’s happening on all of the courts, and also gives me the ability to watch lessons or matches from the comfort of my home on my iPad.
The ESS system is a “must have” tool for any club that offers tournaments, leagues and instruction. In addition to being a great tournament management tool, the system engages club members with the ability to check schedules, scores, and even watch matches or lessons on their phones and/or computers. It also has a communications component built in that can be utilized as a profitable promotional tool. Every club owner and tennis professional should learn more about ESS. Your members will love it.
Bass River Tennis Club is always looking to push the envelope and improve the overall experience for both their members and staff. The development of the Electronic Scoring System (ESS) is the latest such example. The implementation has been smooth and quickly adopted. The interface is intuitive and cleanly designed. During USTA and North Shore League matches, visiting players are able to leverage the system with no prior training. Club staff are able to remotely track match progress, enabling more efficient match day coordination. Having used this system many times myself, I highly recommend this system to help improve club operations and the member experience.
I started playing tennis later in life. My wife and I looked at many of the tennis clubs around the area and found that Bass River was the best club that met our needs. We have been members for over 13 years. I am the captain of the club’s B1 team and a USTA 3.5 team. Part of the reason I love the club so much is they are consistently raising the bar and improving their services and offerings. The Electronic Scoring System (ESS) is a great example and puts Bass River steps above other clubs. When visiting teams come to Bass River, the players always compliment the facility and the technology. I also like the fact that if I can’t make the home matches I can log in and watch from home….who does that? Bass River does. I am always promoting our club and most of that is due to their commitment in going the extra mile, running a top-notch club and adding innovating technology like the ESS.
As a USPTR certified instructor and a Tournament Site Coordinator for many years, I have visited and played many clubs in the northeast. The ESS system at Bass River Tennis Club in Beverly, MA has done it right! Combined with being one of the cleanest and best maintained clubs, being able see all the scores on the court and providing tournament support makes this the place to play. In general, the system makes the club look more professional and focused on members and visiting players. Site coordinators prefer to be assigned to Bass River and the players prefer to play there. I recommend the system for all clubs.
